2025 Outlook – The wipers are the star at Jackson, there is an opportunity for wipers from 20-30 inches. Walleye number have started to rebound and will provide for some good action.
- Spring (March-May) – This is time for trophy wipers, once the inlet turns on. These big fish will be concentrated in a few areas, bites may not be plentiful, but it is the best chance for the wiper of a lifetime. As May rolls around the walleye bite starts to pick up.
- Summer (June-Aug) – Trolling and chasing boils for the wipers are the best way to go this time of year. The action can be fast and furious once the boils start. Walleye action continues to be steady into late July.
- Fall (Sept-Nov) – the fall bite can be good while the lake is open. This does vary based on water levels and if you can launch a boat.
