2025 Outlook – Union will be one of the early season hot spots for walleyes and wipers. The largest population of wipers are between 14-20 inches, with some true trophy sized available.
- Spring (March-May) – The bites starts in early April for good numbers of walleyes. The wipers bite turns on about the first of May.
- Summer (June-Aug) – the wiper and walleye bite continues until early July. June is the prime month for wipers. After that the lake get filled with young of the year shad and becomes tough to get gamefish to bite.
- Fall (Sept-Nov) – extremely slow.
